Statement about an individual him or herself or another person

Natural persons and legal entities can receive data included in the Register about another person on the basis of a motivated application.

OCMA

Statement may be requested:

Personally or by mail at territorial offices of the OCMA;
By mail at the Department of the Population Register in Riga, Čiekurkalna 1. līnija 1, k -3;
Electronically by using e-service "Application for receipt of statement from the Population Register about yourself or represented person" and "Application for receipt of statement from the Population Register about a third person". The services are available by authentication with secure electronic signature issued by State joint stock company Latvijas Pasts. Payment for the service is possible only to users of the Internet bank of Swedbank (JSC Hansabanka) or SEB banka.

AT LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

A statement about place of residence of an individual can be received from a local government, if the individual’s place of residence is in the administrative territory of the local government and the local government has on-line data transmission with the Population Register.
