!!! As of 1 July 2009, a State fee of 3 LVL must be paid when declaring one’s place of residence in a local municipality. The fee must be deposited in the bank account of the respective local municipality !!!

The place of residence can be declared:

1. In the institution of the municipality for declaration of residence place where the new place of residence of an individual is located;

2. Electronically - portal www.latvija.lv (using e-Signature (www.e-me.lv) or autentification of Internet bank (Swedbank. SEB Banka, Latvijas Krājbanka))

!!! The individuals who change their residence place and the individuals who have not declared their place of residence yet must declare their place of residence !!!
